Lesvos Food Fest 2025

From July 2 to July 6, 2025, the Molivos Tourism Authority, in collaboration with the Cultural Foundation of the Piraeus Group, the Museum of Natural History of the Fossilized Forest of Lesvos, the Cultural Association Petra, the Zaïra Hotel, and the Association of Restaurateurs & Related Professionals of Molivos, will host the 6th edition of the Lesvos Food Fest with the theme “4 Seasons – 4 Seasons.”

Expect flavors, aromas, and scents that evoke the sea, the mountains, and the coast—all experienced in their own season. Lucky are those who savor these delights in the balmy heat of summer, and equally those who enjoy them amid the cool of winter, the colors of spring, and the hues of autumn.

This gastronomic journey through the seasons features favorite guests, customs, recipes, reenactments, music, innovative techniques and trends, games, guided tours, live cooking sessions, workshops, and tastings, all organized in cooperation with six partners and their collaborating organizations.

The goal of this year’s festival is to invite the public and visitors to experience the island during every season, highlighting the unique flavors and traditions of our homeland.

For this year’s event, the planned activities showcase a sustainable approach to Lesvos’ gastronomy that embraces the entire Aegean. The focus is on the seasonality and locality of Lesvos’ products, which tell the story of the seasons at our table.

An indicative daily program is arranged as follows:

• Wednesday, July 2 at the Zaïra Hotel in Skala Loutrons.
• Thursday, July 3 at the Museum of Industrial Olive Pressing of Lesvos, organized by the Cultural Foundation of the Piraeus Group, in Agia Paraskevi.
• Friday, July 4 in Molivos.
• Saturday, July 5 at the Museum of Natural History of the Fossilized Forest of Lesvos in Sigri.
• Sunday, July 6 in Petra.
