The diverse terrain of Lesvos makes it particularly interesting for cycling tourism, especially outside the high tourist season, when the roads are quieter and the experience even more authentic.

Types of Bicycles & Equipment

Classic city bikes, trekking and mountain bikes, electric bikes (e-bikes), as well as bicycles suitable for organized group rides are available.

Basic equipment includes a helmet, tools, inner tube, pump, and basic route guidance, so that you feel safe and well prepared.

Routes for Every Level

At Loriet, we collaborate with a specialized cycling partner who organizes and accompanies the routes, adapting them to the needs and level of each visitor.

Easy Routes

Ideal for families or for a more relaxed experience, these include seaside routes in Gera with gentle terrain, the Perama plain, and routes around Mytilene. They are often combined with a stop for coffee or food in traditional villages, offering a more immersive connection with the place.

Moderate Difficulty

For more active travelers, suggested routes include Paleokipos - Mesagros, passages through olive groves, and rural routes with gentle uphill sections that offer beautiful views of the inland landscape.

Demanding Routes

Experienced cyclists can choose longer distances and elevation gains, such as the Achladeri - Polichnitos route or mountain passages in Southern Lesvos, where the landscape becomes wilder and more challenging.

For groups of approximately 10 people, guided routes can be organized with a specific program and scheduled stops. In cases of increased demand, bicycle transfer to the hotel can be arranged upon request.
