This exhibition is the third solo presentation of Mairy Maouni, vividly reflecting her recent artistic evolution in through the thematic unit "ZEN". Her work is characterized by a constant search for form and emotion. Through the use of acrylics and pencil, the artist creates visual stations that move between Greek light, architectural tradition, and the inner landscapes of human anticipation. Her works function as open windows into memories, inviting the viewer on a journey of better balance, color, and clean shapes, perfectly harmonized with the atmosphere of the historic Loriet mansion.
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Mairy Moouni (born of Frangiskos and Eleni) hails from Paros, but was born and works in Athens. Manifesting a deep passion for the visual arts from a very young age, she was later guided to systematic engagement with painting. She studied and created alongside the distinguished artist Alessandro de Martino, who was a decisive teacher in bringing out her rich and personal idiom. In her artistic journey, she masterfully combines oil painting, acrylics, mixed media, and pencil. She has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Greece, winning the appreciation of the public, and her works adorn important private collections.
