With the scent of the sea and tradition, the Octopus Festival returns once again this year, organized by the Cultural Association "Ayvali of Lesvos." The event, now an established institution for the village, will take place on Saturday, August 23rd, at 21:00, at the playground of Nees Kydonies.

The festival, with many years of presence, has become a landmark for the local community and a favorite summer destination for visitors from all over the island. On the table, octopus will take center stage, cooked in various ways, accompanied by ouzo and meze, in a genuine island-style celebration.
